On March 12, a new batch of SONGUO tricycles and accessories was packed and shipped to Ethiopia. The shipment included various models such as taxis, cargo transporters, medical ambulances, and mobile vendors.;
Located in northeastern Africa with a population of approximately 120 million, Ethiopia hosts the headquarters of the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in its capital. The country is a member of BRICS, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and other organizations. As one of Africa's five fastest-growing emerging economies in 2024, Ethiopia's primarily agriculture-based economy is steadily diversifying, with the government actively promoting industrialization. With rapid economic growth, there is enormous market potential for practical and cost-effective transportation solutions.;

Since last year, Ethiopian clients have visited SONGUO multiple times to gain an in-depth understanding of the company's technology and products. The two parties signed a cooperation agreement and completed procedures such as commercial certification and consular legalization. According to the order plan, SONGUO will accelerate localized production through its partner factory in Ethiopia. Both sides will collaborate to explore more vehicle models tailored to local market demands, further expanding SONGUO's market share in Ethiopia and across Africa.
