SONGUO Business Delegation is invited to visit Morocco, Malta and Bulgaria


From October 14th to 18th, the SONGUO Motors Business Delegation was invited to visit Morocco, Malta and Bulgaria. And met with the leaders of the Ministry of National Economy of Malta, Mr. Christian Cardona, the Minister of National Economy of Bulgaria, Mr. Emil Karanikolov, and the Minister of Communications, Mr. Rossen Jeliazkov, for several rounds of friendly and pragmatic talks.



The Kingdom of Morocco is an Arab country in northwestern Africa, as the entering gate of Mediterranean sea to the Atlantic. Perennial climate is pleasant, flowers and trees are lush, the whole country is picturesque, and with the reputation of “Garden of North African”. China and Morocco established diplomatic relations on November 1, 1958. At the beginning of the 21st century, Morocco has become China's ninth largest trading partner, the largest tea export market, a major fishery cooperative partner and an important engineering contracting market in Africa.


The Republic of Malta is known as the "Heart of the Mediterranean " and joined the European Union in 2004. With a per capita GDP of nearly 30,000 US dollars, it is a highly developed capitalist country. China and Malta established diplomatic relations on January 31, 1972. The two sides exchanged high-level visits and the economic and trade cooperation developed smoothly.


The Republic of Bulgaria is one of the oldest civilizations in Europe and a member of the European Union and NATO. The China and Bulgaria established diplomatic relations on October 4, 1949, and the two governments have economic, trade and scientific and technological cooperation committees. Bulgaria has a well-developed education and the per capita fourth largest number of IT professionals.

All parties conducted in-depth communication on the localization of SONGUO Motors, including personnel, policies, bonded areas, etc., as well as the construction of SONGUO BSS (battery swapping system) infrastructure, landing SKD factory, construction of SONGUO Motors EU demonstration zone, etc.


 Following the national “The Belt and Road” strategic national policy plan, SONGUO Motors has conducted the layout of global market and SKD assembly plants from Southeast Asia to the Middle East, from the Middle East to the European Union, and from the EU to the African continent, in order to lay a solid foundation to realize the global output of technology and brand.

Mr. Abdelmajid Belmekki, Chairman of Mesi Holdings Group, the SKD factory and market distribution partner of Morocco, and the largest steel company in Italy, and Mr. Vincenzo Di Grandi, Chairman of the HADID Group, which is a diversified business of airlines (including aircraft engine maintenance)  accompanied the visit.
