“With the approval of the Federal Cabinet, the project and policy will open up new opportunities in the transportation and environmental sectors, creating a large number of green job opportunities,” the minister said. Initially Pakistan needs to provide a replaceable solution for EV vehicles until charging infrastructures are developed appropriately. The minister said that the policy and projects will benefit local companies, and the timing of investment in electric vehicles in the Pakistani market is ripe. Before the establishment of more charging infrastructures, the replaceable battery solution is a suitable choice for the Pakistani market, especially for tricycles and low-speeding vehicles.
